Pattavia Century Golf Club was designed and built by US golf architect Robert McFarland in 1996. Just a short drive from Pattaya this course offers you an 18-hole, par 72 course that weaves its way through stunning backdrops of scenic hillside and countryside.
The course is as you would expect here in Thailand, demanding yet rewarding with a variety of hazards to keep you on your toes. The fairways are tough and you need to make certain you keep your shots straight, otherwise you may end up in one of the many water hazards that are lurking around. Interestingly this course does have a high number of dogleg holes, so those of you who can draw or fade your shots are in with a chance of a great days golf.
Golf carts are optional here at Pattavia Century Golf Club, so if your up for a walk, around 7,100 yards, then grab your trolley and away you go. The caddies are as always helpful and know the course inside out. Some may struggle with English, however, they can point you in the right direction, and then the rest is up to you if you take their advice or not.
After a long day out on the course you can head back to the clubhouse and enjoy a refreshing cold beverage. It may not be the biggest clubhouse in town, however, Pattavia Century Golf Club is more than adequate for chilling out with your friends and running through the days golfing activities. The most likely discussion is the Eighteenth hole, a tricky hole that has water hazards screaming at you as well as a green that most downhill skiers would enjoy skiing down. Accuracy is the key to this hole and as it is the last hole of the round, be careful, you may end up undoing all your good work with a few wayward strokes that will be punished severely.
